Study Of Application About Quick Expression In Architectural Creative Process

Quick expression isn't only a kind of expressional physical form, but also a more important carrier from which the designer's thinking may be conveyed. Quick expression is a kind of way that can transmit the designer' intention..When communication takes place among different professions or different areas, we often rely on a viewable and understood carrier, in other word, a symbol, i.e. quick expression, which can make such communication easier and more effective. Quick expression in an architectural creation comes from sketch drawn by architectures, which is helpful to design thinking, displaying the shape of architecture and indicating architecture pattern. Nowadays, the representation of quick expression has been developed dramatically from traditional sketch to varied sorts. It can be shown by drawing or by solid modal and by 3D simulation, in which architecture pattern is symbolized. Although being dim on architectural shape, all of them may tell quickly the architectures design thinking.This paper is about study of application of quick expression in architectural creation. Combining with the practical problems in architectural creation, it makes a research about the important functions and influence of quick expression in the process.Firstly, through studying the application ways in nowadays -architectural creational process and analyzing the effect of various ways that take play important functions in creational process, the significance of quick expression is extracted from them.Secondly, through both definition and research of interrelated theories of quick expression in architectural creation, the quick expressions become more systematized on its theory. Withdrawing theoretical elements in quick expression, reforming the content and methods of it, the paper discussed a few methods that can improve applicability of quick expressions CAD. It is more helpful for architectural design process to use. Besides, through exploring methods of combining with PC Tec, quick expression can be made more speed up, more convenient, of multi-viewpoint, meanwhile, not only can spaces and layers be shown better, but also the whole and essences as well. In short, a wider expressional space will be opened for future architectural creation.
