Graphic Paradigm Driven Thinking And Expression Of Architectural Design

Graphic paradigm differs from diagram,which is the fundamental form of graphics.It is usual to use graphic diagram as an expression implement of modern architectural design.However,how to use the graphic paradigm initially as a driving force is still a new subject to explore.This thesis is going to analyze the definition and basis of graphic paradigm in the first place.Then,the principles and logical relations of graphic paradigm will be discussed,and lastly summarizes the whole development process.Based on the research methods of typology,this thesis tries to build the operation process of architecture,and concludes a list of graphic paradigm to guide practical applications.It will contribute to the exploration of graphic paradigm's use more practically.Specifically,it investigates a more systematic and scientific way of architectural education to a certain degree so that the beginners would apply the graphic paradigms much clearly.Afterwards,the thesis selects the practical design projects to further study the characteristics and the forms of exist.From the analysis,it will realize the differences in the field of architecture.Finally,a project will be designed to support all of the arguments.The thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction that illustrates the research objects,research backgrounds and the research significance.This lists the frame and methods of research.The second chapter studies the relation of design and graphic paradigm,it discusses the system of planar graph,elevation andsectional graph.It demonstrates the meanings of architecture through the uses of famous architectures,and analyzes the graphic paradigm,and classifies thegraphicparadigm initially.Further,chapter four classifies the graphic paradigm through typology under the alignment design.Two outstanding cases will further prove theoperational modes.Chapter 5 discusses the thinking and the expression that drives the architecture design.Lastly,to conclude,chapter six summarizes the research work and all of the conclusion.At the same time,this part gives the questions and advice of the subject that this thesis tries to express.In conclusion,this thesis will use theconception of graphic paradigm to push the design work and the process of architectures.Graphic paradigm will make the whole design more logically andcopiously by solving all of the coming design difficulties.
