On The Construction Of Network Resources Of The High Quality Curriculum Mechanical Drawing In Vocational Colleges

The project of teaching quality and teaching reform (PTQR) in higher education plays a vital role in Plan of Education Development for 2003-2007 and the project of the construction of high quality curriculum serves as an important component and as one of the four pre-start componets of PTQR. In vocational colleges, the research on the construction of fine quality curriculum has been conducted in more depth and more proportion.There are a number of requirements clearly stated in " Measures for National Implementation of High Quality Curriculum-building" regarding lesson plans, teaching staff, lecture video and teaching materials and reference materials. All the relevant materials should be available and shared on the Internet. It would be difficult to give a full play to the fine quality curricula if they are not available online due to the scientificalness, advancement and the role of demonstration embodied. At present, there are still many deficiencies in the construction of network-based fine quality courses.Guided by the theories of modern teaching and education, the paper tries to explore the theoretic reference and practicing approaches for the construction of network based high quality curriculum with a close connection to the characteristics of higher vocational education. It first researches on the relevant subjects at home and abroad and analyses the current situation and and problems in network based teaching and then goes on stating the background, contents and significance of this reserch work. The primary focus is laid down on the theoretic and practical research on the construction of Mechanical Drawing course for students in vocational colleges based on the analysis of the characteristics concerning the construction of high qualty curriculum in vocational colleges.In order to meet the students'cognitive and learning characteristics, such softwares as Dreamweaver and Photoshop are applied to bulid a website for high quality curricula that is in line with the internal phylosophy of engineering teaching. Detailed introduction of the design and procedures of such construction is made with a special emphasis on the key procedures. In the end, some constructive suggestions and technology foresight are put forward from the comparative analysis of the above mentioned practice. The author hereby regards the paper as a means to communicate and share with others in the same field and hopes to work together to strengthen the construction and application of the network resources in vocational colleges.
