Generator control is very imptortant part for wind power generation. All kind of control algorithm for Wind-driven Generator are depended on accurate parameters of motor at some degree. The identification of motor parameters is of great importance for a high-performance AC Drive, such as a Sensorless Vector Controlled AC drive. Vector Control is also called Field oriented control, it is based on the persistence of rotor flux, realizing the decoupling of the torque current and magnetism current in a way of field orientation. So the sticking point of the vector controlled technology is the field orientation, and the precision of motor parameter determine the precision of the whole control system. When a vector control system is applied to an unknown motor, the parameters are hoped to be available before the system run naturally.The motor's parameter identification plays an important role in motor control. It is both a theoretic and a practical project. This paper focuses on the parameters estimation of asynchronous motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor。First of all, the paper summarizes the course of high performance control strategy for AC motor. Then, the factors which affect the parameters of the AC motor are described. The static and dynamic control performance of AC motor are affected by the change of parameters. And then, some common identification methods are analyzed, such as, model reference adaptive algorithm, least-squares algorithm, kalman filter algorithm.In order to restrain the blight of parameters changing on vector control system of asynchronous motor, recursive least square is used for on-line motor parameters estimation. Firstly, the principle of parameters estimation using recursive least square is expatiated. Combining this method with vector control system, a vector control system of asynchronous motor using variable speed parameters estimation is presented. Simulation experiments are carried on by Matlab/Simulink. The simulation result indicates that the parameter estimation algorithm is effective and the performance of vector control system of asynchronous motor is improved properly. On the base of analyzing the mathematical model of the PMSM, Combine this method with parameter identification of PMSM. The presented identification technique, based least-squares, reveals itself suitable to be applied to PMSM. The estimation is based on a standard model of PMSM, expressed in rotor coordinates.The method is suitable for online operation to continuously update the parameter values. The developed algorithm is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulation results are presented, and accurate parameters for PMSM is provided At last, The design scheme of parameter measurement experiment is analyzed completely. The design of hardware of system based on TMS320LF2407 is introduced. The design of experiment software is introduced. The hardware schematics and software flow-chart are presented. The experimental results are given in this paper. The results indicate that Method of parameter measurement have better practical value.
