Masonry structure in China is still widespread. As most masonry structure houses in towns and countries are not designed as the request, or unable to meet the present request of earthquake-resistance, they cannot resist or reduce the hazards of earthquakes. Therefore, it will be worthy of studying of how to take effective measures to improve and reinforce the crack-resistance and earthquake-resistance qualities of such structures.It can effectively improve the material quality of the masonry structures and the stress quality of the walls by prestressed diagonal bar, as well we delaying the crack of the wall, improving the quanlity of crack-resistance, earthquake-resistance and shear strength, based on domestic and overseas researches, this article focuses on studies about prestressed strengthened resisting crack,seismic behavior through under vertical load masonry structure as follows:Taking the advantage of finite element analysis software Ansys10.0 and simulating the wall in the trial to analyze under the same Vertical Load the wall and infliction Different prestressed diagonal bar resistance wall model. From the result, indications like Cracking Load,Limit Load,Horizontal Displacement of wall strengthened by prestressed diagonal bar increase obviously with the increase of diagonal bar Prestress Value.By simulating the test model of wall of a house, the writer made a pseudo static test to wall and four wall under infliction Different prestressed diagonal bar resistance to analyze the influences of Masonry structures strengthened by prestressed diagonal bar to crack resistance,Shear Strength,hysteretic characteristics,skeleton curve,Ductility,Energy Dissipation ect. From the test, Resisting Crack Bearing Capacity,Shear Strength,deformability Ductility of the wall increase with the increase of prestressed diagonal bar after the strengthened by prestressed diagonal bar , the wall get stress averagely, uniformly forced, and all qualities of materials expand. The wall will not disperse despite crack to keep the integrity, and the qualities of earthquake-resistance and collapse-resistance increase.Based on theoretical analysis and test research, the article focuses on studying the availability of Masonry structures strengthened by prestressed diagonal bar, and brings out the designation measures and construction technologies of Masonry structures strengthened by prestressed diagonal bar.At the end, the article makes a forecast to the application of prestressed diagonal bar Seismic Strengthening.
