Research And Application On Seismic Strengthening Of Complex Building Of Yangpaoan Elementary School In Zhuhai

In recent years, natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and storms and so on happened frequently.Especially after Wenchuan earthquake on May 12,2008 and Yushu earthquake in 2010,the aseismic capacity of primary school buildings aroused the attention of all the parties,but the seismic fortification level of using primary school buildings designed by old code is lower when they were bulit.After long-term application the questions appeared such as different levels of structure aging,reducing of the bearing capacity, etc and it influenced the safety of the structure seriously.According to the requirements that about "The implementation plan of the national primary school safety engineering" raised by the state council,if the need for continued use of the buildings,it must be taken thorough examination and aseismatic appraisal.Those don't conform to examination and appraisal should be checked and strengthened according to the new code.Through renovating and structure strengthening design of complex building of Yang Paoan elementary school in Zhuhai,the dissertation expounded the signification of strengthening work,In the meantime,based on aspects of the safety and reliability, construction convenient and economic applicability and so on,the dissertation compared and summarized the characteristics of various reinforcement method,introduced structural measures and key points of construction of common reinforcement method. More systematically it analyzed the characteristics of Existing buildings' aseismatic appraisal and structure design of reinforcement, mechanical features of reinforced structure as well. According to the result of aseismatic appraisal of Yang Paoan elementary school in Zhuhai and the requestments of current codes, standards, etc,this dissertation choosed actual reinforcing scheme. In addition, this dissertation respectively did aseismatic checking before and after the reinforcement of Yang Paoan elementary school in Zhuhai by the software of PKPM/Satwe and selecting MIDAS/Gen,which is the universal finite element analysis software, to undertake aseismatic performance analysis for the structure that had been strengthen.Based on the basic principles of reinforcement method and combined with the engineering practice,the dissertation discussed on the comprehensive use of reinforcement method much more thoroughly. And further puts forward safe, economic and appropriate reinforcement design scheme,which can provide references to the similar projects in the future.
