Traditionally, we use manual and half-auto adjustment equipment to adjust the active and reactive power of the synchronous generator. Because of using thyristors to adjust, the adjust equipment have low precision and need long time to adjust. This article builded the mathematical models which based on the DC motor and synchronous generator control system and had the simulation study. In this article, it used self turn-off apparatus instead of thyristors to realize the excitation control and input power of the prime mover.Based on the simulation study, this article finished the manufacture and the debug of the hardware and software experiment system, the whole experiment system adopted TI DSP-TMS320LF2407A digital signal processor and DC motor and synchronous generator produced by Right Electrical Equipment Co.Ltd. After simulation processors and experimentations, it can be proved that the system has acquired the preferable performance and the thesis has obtained good results.
