The utilization of solar energy source, which makes the voltage of photovoltaic generation system unstable, is random. The approach presented in this paper makes full use of a novel dual-directional high-power DC/AC/DC converter based on super capacitor storage system to improve the voltage stability of photovoltaic generation system. Firstly, the principle of main circuit of the converter is analyzed. Meanwhile the mathematical model is established. According to the different operating mode of the DC bus, the control strategy is put forward. The transfer of energy between super capacitor array and the photovoltaic generation system can be accomplished in order to enhance the voltage stability. At last, the process is simulated by MATLAB/Simulink, It is verified that the dual-directional DC/AC/DC converter circuit designed is of correctness and the control strategy is of high validity and operation flexibility. The super capacitor energy storage can improve the voltage stability of photovoltaic generation system.
