The penetration technique play a very important role in the military field in the 20th century. Especially with the requirement of futural battlefield, the pentration technique will play an increasingly important role. The technique of pentration storage is one of the front and hot spots researched by scholars around the world. The paper studies Systematically the design and data processing analysis of over-loaded recorder.The paper overviews the research status and development trends of the technique of storage and penetration. Firstly, we introduce the design of the system and then study the scheme of modular design. We propose the optimized power modules,clock modules, acquisition module and logical module after performing a lot of theoretical research and experiment.According the need for system testing, we design the mechanical structure of the system and demonstrate that it is rational not only by the ANSYS but also theoretical calculation.In order to test the reliablity of the recorder, we need to perform the penetration steel trials. We propose a test scheme for the whole recorder in the course of analysing the process of penetration and the composition and characteristics of the signal which is taken out by penetration aceleration sensor. When we process and analyse the data tested when the projectile inbasive the steel targets, we analyse the relationship between frequency distribution of breech acceleration signal and energy distribution with the wavelet function. We also analyse the ralationship between penetration acceleration signal time,frequency band and energy distribution with the matlab time-frequency function. The test proves the recorder could work normally and the actual measurement data is right in the over-loaded situation .
