The dynamic characteristics of a boiler are the foundation of its design and operation. Investigating the dynamic characteristics of large capacity ultra-supercritical pressure boilers is very important for manufacturing ultra-supercritical pressure boilers of our country and guaranteeing its safety and economical operation.A nonlinear dynamic model of internally ribbed tube is presented for simulating the behaviar of ultra-supercritical pressure boilers, which provides the accurate Calculation of heat transfer coefficient. The critical region, the supercritical region and ultra-supercritical region are divided into high-enthalpy and low-enthalpy regions, the subcritical region is divided into super-cooling water, nuclear state, dry burning and overheat regions in the process of developing model.Using this model, the dynamic characteristics of a 1000MW ultra-supercritical pressure once-through boiler is anlyzed under there typical working conditions. The simulation results show that the model can correctly describe the dynamics of the various parameters.
