Hydraulic variable propeller pitch system of wind-driven generator is one of the most important system for wind-driven generator's normal operation.This paper build the model for hydraulic variable propeller pitch system by bond graph theory, and the model is effective for studying control systems of wind turbines variable pitch.And based on the essential theory of bond graph,a novel modeling method for linear systems,which is called power transfer function been presented in this paper. Through seting up the model for hydraulic variable propeller pitch system by power transfer function and simulating by Matlab,this paper proved the power transfer function is valid and advanced.At last,based on the Fault Tree Analysis and Fault Petri net,this paper diagnoses the fault for hydraulic variable propeller pitch system. The qualitative analysis run out the systemss fault condition and fault reasons,and the quantitative analysis counts out the systemss reliability Index.All of these analysis provids an important reference for the systems repairing and maintenance.
