Research And Impliment Of Power Grid GIC Monitoring System Based On GPRS

The geomagnetic induced current(GIC),caused by geomagnetic storms,will affect the power grid.This effect should be paid attention to and need to study.Pratical measurement is the direct means to master the level of the power grig GIC.In this paper,we bring out the theory,that is,on the basis of the developed power grid GIC monitoring devices,develop the power grid GIC monitoring system based on GPRS.In the degisn of the GIC online monitoring system,we use the GPRS to achieve the goal that the dada from the separate monitoring station be organized into a data network,make the distant transmission of GIC data come true,use.NET technology to achieve the overall design of the back-end software and the detailed design of some function modules.At present,the developed system has been put into use in real power grid,and the operation results show that,the overall capability of the monitoring system,which is designed and developed in this paper,has met the due design demands.
