The directly driven wind turbine with permanent magnet synchronous generator(D-PMSG) is one of the main kinds of generator in variable-speed constant-frequency wind power generating,Due to high efficiency,easy manufacture and excellent control traits,the direct driving wind power system involving the PMSG is attracting people's attention gradually.In general,the PMSG is controlled by field-oriented vector control method,by which simplified the generator mode and get mathematical model.Making full usage of wind energy is one of the main control objects in the control of wind power generation.In this paper,based on the wind turbine characteristics,a method of maximum power point tracking is proposed.The models of PMSG have been realized with the engineering software Matlab/Simulink.Simulation for the case of wind speed change has been done,the simulating results verifies the validity of the model and the feasibility of the control strategies.
