The Main Station Design And Development Of The Wide-area Measurement/Monitoring System

According to the project of load characteristic dynamic monitoring in Guangdong Grid, the PMU equipment and the main station system are developed.The paper draws on the design strategy of main stations,which is on the basis of the development of Wide Area Measurement Systems(WAMS) in Guangdong Province power grids.Whole structures of WAMS,net composing of main station and communication methods of data-net in substation are described respectively.Three kinds of server in main station are mentioned,which are database server,file server and WEB server.Also the function and implementation of Phase Data Concentrator(PDC) is presented.Then,human-computer interaction program of the client part in main station is introduced including of database design and the database management system,PMU realtime monitoring system,and the off-line WAMS data analysis system.The software main station system is proved to be reliable to the analysis of power system by illustration.
