Optimizing Configuration Of Reactive Compensation Capacity In The University Electric Networks

Compensating reactive power in the university networks is an important method to keep reactive power in the electric power system networks balancing,reduce network losses and increase the quality of voltage,it has been widely applied in the electric networks.In this paper the characteristics of the university electric networks are analyzed as the research background,we discuss the basic methods of reactive compensation and classic reactive power optimizing theory in the university electric networks.We present the new optimizing configuration method of reactive compensation capacity in the regional electric networks by analysing the materially historical active power and reactive power data of the regional electric networks.Applying it to the project of optimizing configuration of reactive compensation capacity in the BIT electric networks,it achieves the optimizing configuration of reactive compensation capacity in the university electric networks.The result proves the validity of this new method.
