The article firstly analyses the function and disadvantages of voltage and reactive power controlling device VQC of single transformer station. On the basis of this, it presents the concept of regional network pressure reactive power optimization, control and analyses the current situation of pressure reactive power control in and abroad. According to the systematic current situation, it presents regional pressure reactive power controlling system on the basis of SCADA model and introduces the basic structure of the system and controlling strategies and function and features. The system applies the way of regional control and takes account of the conditions of safety at the minimum of power lost and controlling cost. The system presents reasonable pressure regulation and reactive power optimizing strategies by designing according to storied control structure, thus realizing the automatic control of the whole networks pressure reactive power. It analyses the effect in raising electric energy quality and ensuring the safety of power networks taking HengShui networks as an example.
