According to the phenomenon that running performance of the circulating water system can't reach the design value at home and abroad,the whole circulating water system will be optimized in this paper.The integral model of circulating water system will be established.The 'minimum supplied water matching optimal vacuum'will be pick up in this paper and a 'mix-speed operation of the pump unit' will be taken as a effective energy saving reconstruction.This paper will take the unit vacume as target function,and the optimum process will be based on the Genetic Algorithm.Combining with the actual running condition about 600MW unit of one power plant,the operation method of circulating water pump will be changed when other operational factors keep changeless, therefore,the optimum operation result about unit plant and extended unit plaot will be gained respectively,and these results can be used to guide unit operation accurately.
