At present,many steering wheels of vehicles in some models have shimmy phenomenon when they are in a state of power-off sliding and slow braking.Through a large number of trial studied,people find some factors affecting shimmy,and successfully eliminate shimmy phenomenon of some cars.As a "repair" problem, shimmy phenomenon can be resolved.But as a "design" problem,shimmy problem can't be controlled and forecasted in the early stage of design,so it needs further research.Though some shimmy phenomenon happens in the late stage of use,it still belongs to the "design" problem,because the imperfect design makes vehicles wear easily,which leads to the shimmy phenomenon.In order to solve the shimmy problem,double wishbone independent suspension vehicle is studied.It analyses that deformation of suspension is on the impact of dynamics future because of the different longitudinal force,in order to provide theoretical basis for driving stability.Advanced virtual prototyping technology is the important technology way of automotive products design.Its central part is multi-body system dynamic,modeling theory and its technology realization.The thesis adopts the method of advanced virtual prototyping technology and multi-body system dynamics to simulate the double wishbone independent suspension vehicle about dynamics and do some special tests at the mutual area of vehicle--road,in order to get the simulating result of virtual test ground.In this thesis,select a model for the study,and use advanced software ADAMS virtual prototyping technology in the CAR module,including two modes:Standard and Template Builder.Combined with multi-body system dynamics knowledge,a full virtual prototype vehicle can be established,including:double wishbone front independent suspension and rear independent suspension,steering systems,power system,tires,body,braking systems and so on.Before the virtual prototype vehicle is simulated,Driver Control File need be writed,includding two cases:acceleration and braking.Using the finished Driver Control File,the virtual prototyping simulation of the vehicle is put on the special road to do a series of simulation tests.By analyzing the changeable plot of driving wheel kinetic parameters provided by Postprocessor, Virtual Prototyping Simulation of the vehicle can compare the change of driving wheel kinetic parameters affecting driving stability under the different longitudinal force.
