In view of the dangerous of vehicle tire blowout on high-speed.In order to reduce the harm of tire burst,this paper designs a tire burst air bag system with inner tube air bag and a tire test-bed for system development.The tire burst air bag does not work when the tire is normal.When the tire burst happens,the inner tube air bag inflates in an emergency and supports the tire safety after the tire loses pressure instantly.The main contents of this paper include the following four aspects.First,This paper introduces the design of the whole scheme of the system,through the experiment and calculation to complete the determination of the parameters and the selection of the materials.Using LS-DYNA finite element software platform,the finite element model of tire burst is established,and the control volume method is used to carry out the preliminary simulation analysis of the deployment of tire burst.Compared with the static initiation experiment of tire burst,the correctness of the finite element simulation model of tire burst is verified.Further improve the inflation mode of the tire burst airbag,simulate the deployment effect of the airbag under uniform inflation,and assist the design and development of the tire burst airbag.Secondly,the paper designs and develops the tire test-bed,carries out the calibration of the simulated load parts,and finally completes the assembly of the tire test-bed,with stable operation,which can be used for experimental data collection and system verification test.Thirdly,through the static tire stiffness experiment,the radial tire stiffness model is fitted,and combined with the dynamic data of tire test-bed and the simulated tire burst experiment,the mathematical model of radial tire stiffness in the process of tire burst is fitted.Combined with the two degree of freedom vehicle model,the working effect of the system is simulated.Finally,Using Matlab/Simulink to establish a seven degree of freedom vehicle model to simulate the dynamic characteristics of the front and rear wheels with single tire blowout.Combined with the whole vehicle model,the vehicle dynamics simulation iscarried out for different inflation rate and ignition time of the system,which provides the corresponding parameters for the trial production of the principle prototype of the system.
