Automatic transmission is the main part of the vehicle driving system, so it has much influence on the performance of the vehicle. Automatic transmission shift up and down through the joint and withdrawing of the unite components, so the shift process is actually the process jointing and withdrawing of the unite components. Control system detects the throttle valve opening and vehicle speed signal, according with certain shift schedule it sends electronic signals, which control shift valve and realize automatic shift. In order to insure the smooth shift, pressure regulating and flow control system is adapted to control oil pressure changing curve of the applying elements.The technology of the automatic transmission has been very mature in foreign, but it is still unenlightened in China. We are now not capable enough to study and design automatic transmission, so we need to found a set of theories about the hydraulic system analysis and device.Be based upon the working mechanism of automatic transmission hydraulic control system, this paper analyzes and research detailed pressure regulating and flow control system, shift control system, shift quality control system, hydraulic system of torque converter. This paper summarizes the representative AT pressure regulating and flow control systems of various large-scale auto companies, and realizes the ultimate composition of system, basic parameter's ascertain and design requirement of system. This paper establishes fully analytical method of AT hydraulic shift control system. Define the function of the AT shift control system and designing requirement clearly. Set up the basic expression and analytical method of AT shift control system. This paper also provides the basic principle of shift quality control, especially presents several methods of improving shift quality in terms of analysis of shifting process.This paper expounds detailed 4L80-E hydraulic control system, converts every hydraulic subsystem'constructional drawing to mark fundamental chart, and draws up each incorporation cellular enter, oil drive back thread way chart based on hydraulic shift control system.
