Now the hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission is the leading product of automobile transmission system in the world,which has the ability of changing speed and torque gradually and continuously,and has the good self-regulation and adaptive ability to the external load.Loaded with the hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission,automobile shift attacks slightly and the operation simply,moreover can carry on shift automatically according to the best shift time,which is helpful to enhance the power and efficiency of automobile.But its transmission efficiency is low,and has some questions to be needed to make further improvement,such as not satisfying shift requests with the travel environment changing,and the shift quality is not excellent and so on.Some domestic automobile manufacturer is making the research,and the research on the hydraulic mechanical automatic self-shifting transmission system has the important theory significance and the practical value to promote the domestic automobile industry development and the technology advancement.According to 5 shifts hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission model,the main research is aimed at how to enhance the efficiency,how to promote to shift quality as well as how to realize the intelligent shift and so on.The efficiency of hydraulic torque converter is lower than one of machine part;therefore,establishing 5 shifts transmission model which used the torque converter with locked clutch and slipping control of torque converter enhanced the transmission efficiency,and enhanced control precision through electrical-hydraulic control system.Because the oil pressure and its control precision of the friction elements of the 5 shifts transmission machinery part have influence to shift quality,dynamics,the kinematical analysis and the system optimization about the planetary gears and shift hydraulic control system of 5 shifts hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission were studied. Shift law is the core of automatic transmission,while the tradition shift law was stored in the electrical control unit,shift opportunity can not be changed with the external environment change,this kind of shift does not have the ability of auto-adapted vehicles condition,the path environment and driver intention. Accordingly,the intelligent shifting strategy analysis was made based on the transmission power and shift law efficiency. Through the analysis of 5 shifts hydraulic mechanical automatic transmission model,draws the following conclusion:Uses the method of fuzzy control slipping rate to be possible to enhance the efficiency;The planetary gears dynamics analysis is the theory foundation of shift quality control;The electrical-hydraulic control system can increase the control precision;The intelligent shift strategy comprehensively evaluates some information such as vehicles movement condition,the travel environment and the driver operation intention and so on,enables the automobile travel to satisfy the vehicles dynamics,the efficiency and the driving request.
