Pulse current generator for widespread testing equipment is not high degree of automation. The measurement of pulse current is of poor accuracy, the repeatability of which is not high and the performance is not good. The introduction of LabVIEW instrument technology is needed to resolve these problems. This paper studies the technique of measurement about monitoring the pulse current generator and the measurement of signals after discharging, which introduces a design of high-current measurement and control system based on LabVIEW software. The major work in the thesis are as follows:Firstly, the paper describes the high current measurement technology background of the project, as well as domestic and foreign research and development trends, which illustrates a solution of the high current measuring and controlling system based on LabVIEW. The paper is divided into two parts, including hardware design and software design.The paper introduces a hardware design of pulse current generator control system, which respectively describes some functions on the parts of the control and collection, including single-chip control module, fiber optic communications modules and signals of discharging acquisition module and so on. It introduces the basic principle and circuit design. The system puts forward the 89C51 single-Chip microcomputer as the core. The design parameters of the working principle are analyzed, which use the sample rate 1GS/s Digital Oscilloscope to collect the pulse current.The paper focuses on the software system, which brings up the pulse current of monitoring system. Through the design of communication module with oscilloscope, LabVIEW sends commands to the oscilloscope, which communicates the oscilloscope through VISA driver. After communication, LabVIEW gathers the signals of the current waveform. By the design of the software system, the signals are gathered, stored and so on.Finally, there will always be interferences in the test environment. These interferes affect the stability and accuracy which are solved in the paper with the use of fiber-optic communicate with PC.
