The Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD) is one fundamental method of which the low temperature plasma occurs.It widely used in ozone and new substance making,material surface modification,environmental protection and so on.It has received the people widely attention.The study of DBD is deepens day after day,including the study of voltage and current of DBD,and so on.For the needs of discharge voltage and current of DBD,a voltage and current monitoring system based on single chip microcomputer(SCM) and LabVIEW is studied and designed in this paper,first this paper introduces the background of this subject,DBD,power source used in DBD situation and trend of monitoring system and target and significance of the subject briefly;Second,based on relatively mature computer monitoring technology which based on SCM,sensor,analog-digital conversion and other technique,and the GSM short message service(SMS) based on mobile communication technology,the whole design of the monitoring system for DBD plasma reactor,design idea,whole frame,and selection principles of Hardware/Software is given in this paper.And it also gives analysis and design of data acquisition module,data communication module,feedback control module,GSM SMS alarm module and the man-machine interface based on LabVIEW of the system in detail from hardware and software.Finally the whole monitoring system is built,and the monitoring system is tested from hardware and software.After been tested,the performance indexes of this monitoring system are as following:it can measure four power supply's voltage and current in real time,and realize feedback control,over voltage alarm,over current alarm and GSM SMS alarm in the same time.The measurement range of voltage is 0~±450V, measurement range of current is 0~±15A,the measurement error is less than 2%.The test performance of this monitoring system shows that the study of monitoring system in this paper meets the requirements,and the purpose of this paper is attained.
