Therefore conducts research to the intensity of bulk carrier is very necessary.This article takes the object of study by an actual 4800t bulk carrier in operation, as while as analyzing its total longitudinal strength and the partial intensity. Firstly in Maxsurf the three dimensional model is stretched by the original lines. Then import it to the Hydromax, carry on the loading according to the ship's weight distribution, analyzing the total longitudinal strength. The partial intensity and the hull structure strained on stress condition have not direct relation, but its broken also will affect the entire ship's active status. With multiple metering, this article applies CCS2006《Rules for Construction of Sea-going Ships Engaged on Domestic steel ship》to carry on the examination to the bulk carrier partial structural strength.The finite element method is an effective numerical analysis method, being widespread, which is playing a vital role in the ships strength calculation. This article using large-scale common software ANSYS analyse the hull board structure and the section. Firstly elaborate briefly the theoretical calculation of the thin rectangular plate. Then carry on the different form of loading to the actual board plate. Finally obtain the computed result and take analysis and comparison. In ANSYS According to the blueprint simplify the ship and establish the model.The paper has comprehensively analysed the ship structural strength, hoping that it will have the reference to the related project practice and topic research.
