The vehicle braking system is the key device in the traffic safety. For the past few years, along with the development of the vehicle technology and the increasing of the running speed, in order to increase the traffic safety effectively, the vehicles, especially the coach and trucks, adopt the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and the disc brake on a large scale to constitute an advanced automobile pneumatic braking system which controlled by the pneumatic drive and Electronic Control Unit (ECU); and the control solenoid valve is the major actuator and control component. The paper uses a certain automobile braking system that produced by a company as the research object; studies the braking performance of the system and the dynamic characteristic of the control solenoid valve; provides the theoretical principle and technological guidance for the product research and application; enrich the studying theory and engineering practice of the automobile pneumatic braking system and control solenoid valve.The thesis on the basic of the structure and work principle of the automobile pneumatic braking system, the detent and control component, contrast with the international standard and national standard, emphasis on analyzing the index estimate of braking performance of the automobile braking system—braking efficient, braking efficient invariance and braking weathercock stability, conclude the provision and requirement of the automobile braking system, propose the specific index performance of the automobile pneumatic braking system.The thesis establishes the mathematic models of the control solenoid valve, brake chamber and pneumatic disc brake after analyzing the braking process, builds the whole mathematic model of the braking system finally. According to the models, utilize the MATLAB/Simulink, forms the simulation models of the traditional automobile braking system and the automobile braking system with ABS, based on the results, contrasts and analyzes the braking performance.The thesis on the basic of the control solenoid valve working process and control principle, builds the mathematics and physics model of dynamic response; takes a certain product as an example, according to the model, simulates and analyzes the dynamic characteristic. The thesis is combined with the engineering practical problems and requirement; takes a certain product as the case and has a significant directive function and using value on the companies.
