In the pneumatic EPB,the solenoid valve is the key execution part.Its dynamic characteristic is a difficult problem to control the control effect.In this paper,the dynamic characteristic of the solenoid valve is researched by modeling and experiment,which is essential to the development of the control algorithm and the improvement of the solenoid valve design.First of all,this paper puts forward the performance requirements of the solenoid valve from the system structure and working principle,combined with the relevant national standard and the functional requirements of the system.The models of solenoid valve and system simulation were built by using MATLAB/Simulink,and the dynamic response of the solenoid valve parameters is researched by simulation.The simplified model of the switch response of the solenoid valve was proposed and simulation model was verified.Then,the static and dynamic characteristics of the solenoid valve were experimentally studied by the pneumatic EPB test bench.The solenoid valve outlet pressure characteristics was studied through the PFM and PWM experiments,which aim to analyze the influence of control frequency and duty cycle changes on the response characteristics of solenoid valve.Then the system pressure hysteresis characteristics of the solenoid valve switching action were studied and the response characteristics of the solenoid valve was obtained.The study provides the most direct basis for the design of system control algorithm and control cycle.At the same time,the influence factors of the electromagnetic characteristics of the solenoid valve are analyzed by finite element method and their value are determined the sensitivity of the main factors affecting the response characteristics of the solenoid valve was analyzed through the established Simulink solenoid valve simulation sub-model.And then the optimization model of the solenoid valve was established based on AMESim.The optimized structure parameters were obtained by genetic algorithm.At the same time,the static and dynamic test of the solenoid valve are carried out on the test bed,which verifies the accuracy of the simulation result and the improvement of the solenoid valve response characteristic.According to the results of the previous study,the improvement of the response characteristic of the solenoid valve is proposed,which provides a reference for the further optimization design of the solenoid valve.Finally,to verify the dynamic characteristics of the optimized solenoid valve meeting the control needs of the system,the integrated control method to control the air pressure in the Simulink simulation model was simulated,and then a real vehicle validation was done.The simulation and experimental results show that the dynamic characteristics of the optimized solenoid valve can meet the demand of the integrated control system and achieve good control effect.
