A stable homogeneous Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) produce non-thermal equilibrium plasma is an international plasma research focus. But one of the key problem is the observation of dielectric barrier discharge. The observationn methods of dielectric barrier discharge is one after another, optical methods and electrical methods are divided into two categories. Optical methods include the methods optical emission spectroscopy and analysis of current measurements and pictures taken and so on. AES analysis the wavelength of the discharge line, width and intensity distribution, optical current measurement method is to analysis the micro-discharge area of the temporal and spatial variation of light intensity; discharge voltage and current waveforms of the circuit variables attributed to electrical methods.To study the changes of light intensity of micro-discharge in Dielectric Barrier Discharge point , we take theoretical analysis of the dielectric barrier discharge optical systems and optical detection , design and build a fiber optic detection system. Through the cone - the micro-plate electrode structure of the collection and analysis with light intensity of discharge, we sum the discharge light by a single peak and multiple peak current of alternating strong and weak law and duty laws. We also explained the discharge of the duration of the photocurrent formation mechanism of alternating.The voltage of dielectric barrier discharge are high frequency, voltage discharge photos taken under different voltage values have different discharge results, manual is difficult to control recording start time of filming and recording time can not get the instantaneous voltage value. In order to meet the specific needs of shooting under voltage, based on the theoretical analysis of the basic circuit module we designed the high-speed camera's external trigger circuit, which is effective to analysis the dielectric barrier discharge.The light intensity distribution of plate electrode dielectric barrier discharge is lack of more in-depth theoretical study. This paper through image analysis algorithm, which was used to dielectric barrier discharge to analysis the positive picture the spatial distribution of intensity statistics, we can directly analyze and know the spatial distribution of discharge. to some extent it also can get the evaluation of the discharge consistency. This methods provides a scientific method of analysis for dielectric barrier discharge .
