In our country coast and the interior plain area, engineering construction often meets the soft soil ground topping to have a hard crust foundation. This earth has the high intensity and the low compressibility, if performs to use reasonably, the enormous economical building cost of projects. This article according to this project the actual situation, the application finite element software simulation analysis including the hard shell level soft soil ground stress distribution, the consolidation settlement situation, and used the value engineering theory to explain the impact compaction method superiority.First, this article used finite element software (Plaxis) has conducted the research to the hard crust foundation soft soil ground stress distribution characteristic as well as the consolidation settlement. Pointed out that the hard crust foundation to installs the soft soil level to play the diffusion of stress role, the diffusion of stress effect reduces the leading role to the settlement of ground value.Second, (Plaxis) (impact compaction) processed the soft soil roadbed through the finite element software to the power solidifying law to carry on the transient state dynamics numerical simulation, has promulgated the soft soil roadbed under impact compaction function stress strain rule, has expounded the impact compaction law processing soft soil roadbed reinforcement effect.Third, this article has studied the method which in soft base processing uses generally, uses the value engineering theory to point out impact compaction method when processing similar soft base has the superiority.Finally, this article conducts the experimental study to Wenzhou Binhai main road soft base processing. Used power solidifying in the soft soil ground treatment to thicken the hard shell level method processing, confirmed its usability.In brief, This article in view of soft soil ground universal existence hard shell level actual situation, The application finite element software simulation analyzed included the hard shell level soft soil ground stress distribution, the consolidation settlement, the power consolidation settlement and so on each kind of operating mode, used the value engineering theory to explain the impact compaction method superiority, The research results have the very vital practical significance regarding the low embankment first-class highway processing general road section.
