High Embankment Flood Phase Of Soft Soil Crust Layer Characteristics And Construction Control Study

This study describes the performance of a fi.ill-scale embankment raised on Yi luohe river soft clay. The observation work along 15 different sections of the highway has been conducted for about one year. New observation metheods as vertical settlements, lateral displacements, water Pressure etc, were used. About 10 thousand date were abtained, based on which, the hard shell soft clay was studied. More over two theories about how to control the construction were put up.
