Research On Process And NC Scan Route Of Rapid Prototyping Based On Powder Of Wood

Since the first commercial equipment of RP has invented in the world,the advanced manufacture technology-----RP has experienced a vigorous development.The new material and process of RP has being studied in many countries.Because the material of RP is quite expensive at the moment,its development is restricted to some extent.Therefore the inexpensive new material and the new process have become the hot point of the research.As wood powder is not only cheaper and easier to produce but also more environment-protective, using it as main stuff has become an important aspect of the research of RP.This article focuses on the process of RP based on powder of wood,including the creating algorithm of scan route,the influence of the process's parameters to the quality and efficiency of RP and the way to enhance the intensity of its product.According to the research of the layered algorithm based on STL and the creating algorithm of scan route,we propose not only a better layered algorithm and analyze its influence to the quality and efficiency of RP but also a more superior creating algorithm of scan route---compound creating algorithm of scan route,its thought is to combine the scan of outline offset and the scan of certain area back and forth.This scanning way unified the priority of the scan of outline offset and the scan of certain area back and forth.It has fastened the scan of outline offset and enhanced the accuracy of the scan of certain area back and forth.According to the experiment about the mixture of wood powder and hot melt adhesive,we analyzed the influence of the process's parameters to the quality and efficiency of RP these parameter include laser power,scanning velocity,scanning spacing,lamination thickness, scanning way and so on.The result of the analysis give out the discipline of how these parameter influence the quality and efficiency of RP and propose optimization way to configure these parameters.In allusion to the weak intensity of product and concerning the characteristic of material, we propose the method of improve the intensity of the product of RP,such as adding the"the compaction"working procedure when paving powder,enhancing the compactness of powder layer to increase the intensity,compensating layer shrinking ratio,Adjusting hot melt adhesive and wood powder proportion of mixture,choosing better gummy substances as well as a more superior post-processing and so on.
