| The connecting rod is the core components of the reciprocating internal combustion engine,the connecting rod directly affects the quality and the performance of the engine,so the connecting rod production of new technology and new materials have attracted more and more attentions of the researchers,using the method of numerical simulation and experiment analysis of powder metallurgy connecting rod forging is an important research method.The car engine connecting rod by forging powder metallurgy material forming process as the research object,using the method of combination of experimental and numerical simulation,the forming law of powder connecting rod forging process were studied,and the use of plastic forming software DEFORM-3D powder forging process of connecting rod was calculated,analyzed the initial temperature and forging speed the friction factor and the initial relative density of the four influences of process parameters on the powder metallurgy forging connecting rod.The orthogonal test design method is used to design the orthogonal table with four factors and three levels.Finally,according to the orthogonal experimental design,the optimized scheme is used to test the forging of powder metallurgy connecting rod.The results show that the initial parameters such as initial temperature,forging speed,friction factor and initial relative density have important influence on the forging process of powder metallurgy connecting rod.The initial temperature has a great influence on the filling capacity,deformation load and the quality of the final forging connecting rod.When the initial forging temperature is 900 ℃,the maximum forming load is 141 kN,and the temperature is at a temperature of 1100 ℃,the maximum forming load is decreased to 107 kN.Friction causes forging pressure loss,so that the connecting rod relative density distribution is not uniform,but the heat caused by friction,the softening of the material can play a certain role.Forging speed,influence of forging completion time,also indirectly affect the forging temperature under pressure loss,but the speed is too large,the deformation rate of metal deformation resistance increases,causing the increase will lead to the increase of deformation force,so that the mold is the increase of load.The relative density of the connecting rod forging billet is large,and the relative density is bigger,and the density of each part is more uniform.On the contrary,the initial relative density of forging billet is smaller,and the compaction effect is poor.The research process of powder forging connecting rod,provide a theoretical basis for the forming of powder forged connecting rod,which is of great significance to powder forging precision plastic forming technology and application of computer simulation optimization technology development. |
