Along with the economic development, arable land is eroded by urbanization, is reduced. But the increase in population needs new living space. Along with the improve of technology, people began to use the vast space of mountainous region, more and more city and buildings are not to avoid it, and advance to it.City is the settlement of people, must contain complete living facilities. Middle school is a part of educational facilities, its functions and services scope to resolve its universality and dispersion. Schoolyard is a large area, and when it is in the montanic environment, surface condition may cause some influence to its plan, the special geographical feature cause it different with the flat schoolyard. If plan with the flat thought, it will destroy the montanic environment, and is bad for the school's develop.The thesis analyze the form feature and and discipline of Montanic city, expounded the design requirements for schoolyard and buildings, and the requirements for buildings for the change of the educational system, concluded the contradiction between the requirements of schoolyard and montanic environment, proposed how to resolve it.The thesis based on analyze the data and investigate, research into the Montanic city and montanic school in southwest China, concluded the space type according to the example, design requirements and principle of montanic school, summarized its feature to direct toward treat principle for different topography. At last to propose some suggestion, indicate the direction of depth research.
