Transfer station is located between two elevated belt conveyors.It plays an important pivotal role in the industrial transportation system.Most transfer stations are open-frame structure,the ratio of height to width is greater,and there is no floor slab set usually with the exception of machine layers.So transfer station structure is a typical high-rise flexible structure.And the belt tension and power equipments disturbance,as the main source excitating structural vibration,act on the top of transfer station structure.As a result,not only for the structural type but also the characteristics of load,transfer station structure is less suitable for anti-vibration than general structures.At present,with the longer distance,higher speed,greater capacity and higher power conveyors are widely applied in industrial area,both the height and the ability for anti-vibration of transfer station structure are in a higher level.As to vibration problem of this special structure of transfer station,so far there is no research result which can be applied to structural design for new structures or strengthening and maintenance for in-service structures at home.In this paper,by means of vibration test at site and dynamic analysis,two typical structures were selected as research object,and the research work is composed of several aspects as following:Firstly,through survey in site,the structural type and structural characteristics of transfer station in current industrial area were summed up.Vibration test and dynamic analysis were made for multilayer transfer station and tall transfer station structure respectively.Secondly,through test in site,basic parameters of structural dynamic property and actual dynamic response were obtained.Thirdly,two types of structural vibration problems of transfer station were summarized.And analysis ideas of structural vibration problems of transfer station were presented.Fourthly,through comparison and discussion of test result and dynamic analysis result,a rational analysis-model was put forward.Fifthly,from the vibration problems which mainly influencing three aspects such as structure,equipment and human body in a building,the present condition of the transfer station was wholly evaluated in combination with the existing standards of allowable value of vibration,testing value and analysis value.In the end,in order to control and reduce the impact of the dynamic load to transfer station,an optimal reinforced method and some helpful improvements were provided,which could serve as reference for reinforcement and design of the structure.
