The suspension is one of the most important parts of the automobile; it has great effects on the ride comfort and maneuverable stability of the automobile. In the design and development of the automobile suspension system, the calculation and the analysis of the kinetics and the control strategy has been a very important task.In the course of the study on vehicle ride comfort, first of all, using Least squares method fitting Characteristic curve of the air spring; then set up random road model, as well as linear and nonlinear 1/2 vehicle suspension model; last, simulate and analyze them by the MATLAB / SIMULINK software. Through the simulation, the results showed that the nonlinear vehicle model can truly reflect actual vehicle's vibration response.Because of it's independence on the exact mathematical model of the system, sensitivenessless to the variant and good robustness. Besides, fuzzy control is very fit to the model of non-linear, time-chageable and delay characteristics. And the control algorithm of fuzzy control based on several control rules and is simple. Based on building the non-linear air suspension model, this paper uses the Fuzzy Control on the bus's air suspension system. Through Analysis and Comparison of the simulation result, a conclusion been drown that the air active suspension system by using Fuzzy Control can restrict vehicle vibration efficiently and improve the ride comfort of automobile obviously. So it is an ideal control method.
