With people’s pursuit of vehicle driving quality and ride comfort,due to the limitation of its own performance,the stiffness and damping parameters of the passive suspension cannot be adjusted adaptively according to the road surface information.While,Active suspension can avoid this drawback.It can effectively improve the ride comfort,comfort and passability of the car according to the control strategy.Therefore,in recent years,active suspension as the development trend of future suspension has received extensive attention from many scholars and component manufacturers.Based on the research of the suspension system of a certain minibus,the multi-body dynamics model of the whole vehicle is established based on Adams software.In order to improve the ride comfort and comfort of the minibus,the force of the suspension system is used as a variable.Cooperate with Adams and MATLAB/Simulink software to simulate the ride comfort of the vehicle.In order to obtain a good control effect,this paper uses fuzzy PID control and genetic algorithm PID control to simulate the active suspension of minibuses.The latter uses the advantages of genetic algorithms to find the most adaptable individuals in the population through iteration,and adaptively adjust the parameters in the PID to make the vehicle’s vertical,roll and pitch acceleration values meet the requirements of vehicle ride comfort.The simulation results show that the active suspension adopting the two control strategies has better performance than the traditional passive suspension,and the vertical,roll and pitch accelerations are all reduced.As far as fuzzy PID control and genetic algorithm PID control are concerned,the suspension adopting genetic algorithm PID active control can more effectively reduce vehicle body vibration acceleration,and has better control effect and better performance in improving the smoothness of the vehicle.
