The Study Of City Wetland Landscape Design

Urban wetland, as a major type of wetland, is closely relative to the development of our cities. It not only offers many kinds of resources to everyday product and life, but also supplies the important ecological services and the landscape functions. Owing to its ecology function, it is vividly called as "kidney of the Earth". In recent years, due to the expansion and reconstruction of cities, it has led many serious problems in the cities, examples of which can be found in the quick decline of the area of city wetland, the background of the cement embankment, the change of curve ditch or channel as a straight one, and the loss of the ecological environment of waterfront wetland near the natural rivers. Therefore, it is necessary to construct the humanism and bionomics wetland landscapes in the cities.Recently, there are a few references that use the macrocosmic, systematical, and logic theories and practices to study the wetland landscape. Confronted with such a serious actuality of the preservation and construction of wetland, we first introduce the theories (e.g., comparison and induction) into the research of the city wetland. Based on the spirit of the ecological design method, the combination of the humanism, history and artistic conception is used in this paper.Then, according to the investigation of wetland resources in Hefei, this paper generally analyzes the characteristics of urban ecological wetland resource by using tools from SWOT. We also principally appraise the wetland landscape and propose a design approach to establish the Hefei ecological wetland landscape.And then, based on the analysis of the excellence wetland park cases, we lays our emphasis on Hefei wetland park and incorporate into the instance of the Wetland Park of Dongpu reservoir in Dayang Town, Hefei, to analyze the design methods of Urban wetland.Finally, the author forms strategies for the wetland landscape construction in Hefei, and provides a guide of the wetland landscape protection, utilization and construction.
