Brushless DC Motor has the advantages of simple structure, reliable operation and easy maintenance of DC Motor. At the same time, it has the advantages of high efficiency, no excitation loss and easily adjusting speed of AC Motor. It has been widely used in the industry control domain. Small and medium-sized power of the speed control system is gradually being replaced by the Brushless DC Motor speed control system. The thesis is based on this consideration, the research of the Brushless DC Motor speed control technology and methods has been done.The basic component parts, the basic running principle and the mathematical model of the Brushless DC Motor are expounded in the thesis, then an all-digital double-loop speed control system is designed. In matlab7.0/simulink window, the simulation model of the position sensor permanent magnet Brushless DC Motor speed control system is established, a self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller is designed. Low-speed, medium-speed and high-speed performance of the motor has been studied. As opposed to the conventional PID controller, the system has a better static and dynamic performance, and has a strong adaptability in changes of the parameters and the load disturbance, and achieves good control effect.The rotor position signal detection theory and for-phase motor control theory of the position sensor Brushless DC Motor speed control system have also been discussed, then bases on simulation theory, a overall design of the position sensor Brushless DC Motor speed control system is put forward. TI's 32-bit fixed-point DSP controller TMS320LF2812 is used as the controller of the speed control system in order to control the three-phase Brushless DC Motor. The main circuit, power conversion circuit, drive circuit, voltage and current detection circuit, serial communication circuit, monitoring circuit and other hardware circuit are designed. Then, the software design of the corresponding procedures is studied.
