The environment, energy are urgent problems of survival and development of human. Mainly, Conventional energy are coal oil and natural gas. It is not only restricted, but also causing serious air pollution. Therefore, the utilization of renewable energy especially wind power development is regarded by many country in the world. In the recent year, the human used high-tech applied to wind power system, Continuously improving the efficiency and quality of the wind power have great significance. Wind energy resources belong to the natural phenomenon, So the development and use of the wind resource have many inconvenience. The study of this paper from two ideas, first one is research and develop the imitation of wind turbine for wind power system experimental study, using it to drive; the second one is research efficient wind energy, electric power conversion circuit with advanced electronics technology, and further improve the efficiency of wind power by using advanced control technology in wind power system.First, this paper researched the analog wind turbine for wind power system, calculated torque of the wind turbine in any rotor speed and wind speed, and use it as torque giving value to control DC motor, make its torque and rotational speed to simulate the wind turbine, and acquire DC motor wind turbine response curve by simulation experiments.Second, introduced the principle of maximum power output of VSCF wind power generation system, analyzed and compared of several familiar wind power tracking algorithm, especially climbing algorithm. And Proposed a new climbing algorithm applied to wind power generation system.At last, set up the wind power system model by simulink tool, and achieved wind turbine maximum power point tracking(MPPT) algorithms by using S function. Verified and compared dynamic and steady-state characteristics of these algorithms.
