Many built Asphalt Pavements has appeared serious initial damage in a few years, such as cracking, rutting, water damage, etc. For the reasons, the most important factor is the impact of insufficient compaction. Compaction is the core of asphalt pavement construction, it affects pavement performance directly. And the temperature field of asphalt pavement in compaction is one of the most important factors impacting compaction, temperature be too high or too low will go against compaction effect.Study at home and abroad mainly researched the temperature field during the life of asphalt pavement temperature field and few is concerned on the temperature field during compaction of asphalt pavement. This paper mainly studies the thermal transformation of temperature field in pavement compaction, through simulating of filed construction using finite element analysis software, then analyzes the sensitivity of environmental changes. It can provide theoretical guideline to filed construction. There are many factors affecting compaction temperature field, it mainly includes the paving temperature, initial compacting temperature and thickness of compacting layer, and environmental temperature, under layer temperature, wind speed, gradation do mixture, rolling speed and number, solar radiation. This paper select five key factors to do analyzing. After study, we can find that the influence of paving temperature and thickness of compacting layer manifested in the whole HMA layer, while the wind speed and ambient temperature mainly manifested in the top surface of the layer, and the influence of under layer temperature mainly manifested in the bottom surface of the layer. The effect of under layer temperature on the temperature field is relatively small. In order to establish more accurate simulation model, the articles also carried out a series of thermal properties testing at different temperatures and compactness of asphalt mixture.
