The cooling of electric machines is one of the key technologies in large electric machines design, which plays an important effect on sizes and performances of electric machines. Stator cooling system' layout of turbo-generators have a direct effect on temperature of stator, so the fluid field calculations are important to the stator.This paper uses the ANSYS software to analyze and calculate the stator fluid field of the stator radial ventilation ducts and stator hollow windings. The cooling system of fluid field model is established, and the model of mesh generation and solving calculation are given. Fluid field distribution inside radial ventilation duct and hollow strands of faults are shown. Through the analysis of fluid velocity, which sum up the generator stator fluid distribution and provides a basis for the structural design of the electrical and cooling systems. It's also very important to monitoring and diagnosis of the heat fault of the electrical machine.
