In the weapon testing ground, there are many ways on weapons test performance. Some of the important parameters of bombs are recorded through the built-in micro-black box that needs to be recycled. Hence,the location of the casket is very important. Manpower searching method is always adopted; this will waste more time and money because of the complex shooting range circumstance. How to improve the recovery efficiency of the black box has already become an important problem that has influenced the developing of a new ammunition of our country. Thus, it is very necessary to research location system of bomb falling point. The system can be used to define the concrete position of bomb falling point in time.The principle of phase interferometer introduced in this paper, double-baseline locating model is built. Through theoretical derivation, the phase measuring error and the baseline length error effect the interferometer direction finding error are analyze in the paper, and are simulated through the Matlab software. Applying the knowledge of high frequency electronic and radio wave, the relevant circuits are designed in the paper, which include RF Transceiver, microchip control unit, low noise amplifier, power distributor, phase detector and display unit. Wireless communication is realized by RF Transceiver CC1100, which is equipped in the warhead, after low frequency signal as identifying signal being modulated to 433MHz carrier, then sending radio signal by the antenna. The two receivers pick up the corresponding signals by the antennas respectively, and then transfer it into the signal processing unit; a phase detector compares the two input signals and obtains the phase-difference. Two phase-differences are obtained by two baselines. From the proportional relation between the two baselines, it can get a precise phase-difference, which can educe the location information.According to the design request, the control programs for the RF Transceiver and display unit are designed in this paper. At the end, the system has been debugged together to do some experiments for the wireless transmission of control command and the measuring data. The result of measuring realizes that this system can be applied to direction finding for surface-to-surface, namely there is no elevation. It can used to locate the test bomb falling point in the Weapon Test Ground and has certain applications and development value.
