Drug addiction has become a big social problem for a long history.To find an effective solution for the drug addiction therapy has become an important research topic.Now,there are mainly two solutions for the drug addiction therapy:medicine therapy and non-medicine therapy.Both solutions were proved to be effective,but they are not so popular for the clinical applications because of some drawbacks.As a quite promising technique which has been already widely applied in the fields like physical disabled disease,falling sickness,psychoses, et al.,DBS is a hot research topic for the applications in the surgery on the drug addiction.It has already been proved that DBS technique has much less brain destruction and much less syndrome and is reversible.But the application of this technique on the drug addiction therapy is still far from the clinical application.A lot of related research work is still in progress.To support the experimental research requirements on drug addiction therapy and to satisfy the clinical application,it is quite important to design a small,low power consumption, high reliability DBS system.Based on the collected documents,the principle and the development of DBS technique and its application on the drug addiction therapy are concluded in this paper.According to the system structure and the working principles,we analyzed the key technologies in the DBS system design,which includes:power supply system,communication technique,low consumption technique,system control system etc.Taking into account the micro-and low-power requirements in the applications,the DBS design scheme,which is based on wireless control technology technique,is discussed in the paper.The feasibility is also discussed in detail. Wireless control is mainly reflected in two aspects:low power RF communication technique in short range and low frequency awaking technique.Considering the high stability and reliability during communication,low power RF communication technique is used for transmitting data in the DBS system.Meanwhile,in order to reduce the power consumption, low frequency awaking technique is used for the awaking at any time.The total DBS system is composed of two parts:external remote control and internal stimulation part.The thesis is focused on the design of the internal stimulation system. followed the system design index,we design DBS internal stimulation system which is mainly composed of ATmega48 MCU module,nRF24L01 RF communication module, ATA5283 low frequency awaking module,stimulation signal generator by a double amplifier TLV2404,and the related software.The system test was performed.The test work was focused on the followed parameters: stimulation pulses,communication quality,power consumption.According to the related application test,it is proved that our system works fine and can satisfy the application requirements.
