With the rapid development of LED semiconductor lighting industry, LED semiconductor products become more and more popular in lighting market. LED has many advantages, such as green lighting source, high luminous efficiency, long lift time, so there are LED applications of all kinds of styles in the market, among them, the trichromatic (RGB-based) color-tunable LED lamp is one of the important applications.The RGB LED lights in the market is not good in brightness and color consistency is pool, or select a few special Bin codes to do the design, the result is high cost of LED lights. In this thesis, the design of the product can solve the poor color consistency of light source, and can be used throughout the series LED classification codes (Bin code), effectively reduces the purchase cost of the LED. The RGB LED lighting source can keep the same color output in the different temperature throught temperature compensation theory, so this design idear is cost effective and easy to use in the application.Based on the photometry and colorimetry, the thesis focuses on the research and practices of RGB color mixing algorithm after analyzing the LED lighting features in detail, and build 2.4G wireless communication system to control the color-tunable LED light. The thesis gives the detailed measurement and analysis of basic parameters of the LED light, such as flux, color coordinates and the 2.4G general RF signal, the measurement results verify the accuracy of the design.The thesis detailedly introduces design of trichromatic color-tunable LED lamp from system solutions, hardware and software design. In system solution part, introduces and demonstrates the LED light system solution and wireless communication options. In the hardware design of the system, the single-chip processor MS9S08SG32 as the master MCU of the system, and separately describes the various components of the hardware, such as constant current source, RGB LED control, wireless communication, etc. In the software design of the system, gives the overall software design, RGB color-mixing implementation, temperature compensation and RF wireless communication protocol.A series of experiments and measurements are carried out after trichromatic color-tunable LED lamp is completed, including the measurement of 2.4G wireless signals, the basic 256 color coordinates and related luminous flux. The color coordinates tolerance (Δxy) is within 0.021, and for the key colors, the maximum color coordinates tolerance is within 0.01, it means the color consistency is good and can meet design requirement. The measured luminous flux is bigger than design luminous flux of product, so it can also meet the design requirement. The good measurement results verify the feasibility and accuracy of the design. Finally, the aspects of the study are summarized, and the possible improvements in this scheme are proposed.
