In order to overcome the various shortcomings of the training methods of the current photoelectric theodolite operator, the paper was designed emulational trainer of theodolite based on the scene simulation . This emulational trainer can be used to save a large sums of funding for training ,and to greatly improve the capabilities of the operator to manipulate single-shot target tracking. The system is founded and transformed the coordinates, established a text file of the track, polyfit fight track in basis on the method of subsection cubic spline, and controled the light attitude of targets in the air with the use of advanced mathematics knowledge, the system realized the all-real simulation of objective flight state . The actual operating parameter (level angle, pitching angle, speed etc) of theodolite are measured by code check of theodolite, and sent to computer by the interface. The emulational software can give objective special position after dealing with theorical flight track and actual operation parameter of theodolite ,and compose a emulational image, which is displayed on telescope by LCD to feed back observational efect for operator and on the computer screen, which can be directly observed the entire process of the theodolite to capture and track the target.The emulational experiment above-mentioned is performed in the lab using OpenGL graphics programming interface and serial communication technology development scene simulation software under the platform of Visual C++6.0,using ATMEGA8 singlechip system as simulative generator. The experimental result indicates that the method is logical, convenient and realistic.
