The double-roller enveloping hourglass worm pair is one new type of hourglass worm drive. It has chrarcteristics of high efficiency and large load capacity and non-backlash, which can be used for precise division and precise drive and precise power drive. In this paper, based on the meshing theory, the parametric modeling and simulation processing of worm were studied.The structure and the work principle of this worm have been introduced; the mechanism of non-backlash drive was clarified. According to the theories of gear meshing, double-roller enveloping hourglass worm's meshing equations was created, the contact line equation set of worm drive and worn tooth surface equation were deduced.Based on Unigraphics NX further development platform, taking Visual C++6.0 as the tools, the data interface between Unigraphics and MFC was established. The UG / OPEN development framework was constructed in the internal environment and external environment. The point matrix data were calculated according to worm tooth surface equations, the point matrix data were processed and NURBS were created by the methods of interpolation. Then the left tooth surface and right tooth surface of worm were generated by calling library fuctions that create mesh surfaces in the UG environment, and worm helical tooth solid was achived by calling shearing function.And at last parametric modeling of the non-backlash double-roller enveloping hourglass worm was created, which is providing a physical model for the later processing, analysis and optimization.Taking NSIS software and Setup Factory software, the program was successful packed by comtpiling the program script, lawless anti-compiled was effective prevented, at the same time, and intellectual property rights were protected.Based on an example model, the tool paths were generated and simulations processing of worm were realized by taking advantage of CAM modules of UG and inputting the appropriate parameters. Then CNC machining codes of worm were generated by the post-processing function.
