The photovoltaic electrical power generation is a technology that converts sun light into electrcity through photovoltaic solar cells,which is the core component of the photovoltaic system.However,there are still many weakponits on the present solar cells.One of the most mattered point is it can't efficiently use all energy of the sun light.Besides,the short wavelength ultraviolate and long wavelength infrared would have negative impact on the performance of the solar cells.For the reasons above, up-conversion and down-conversion materials are implemented in this study.For the up-conversion and down-conversion materials,the exciting light of certain wavelength should also surpass the energy threshold,which can not be achieved under ordinary sun light.In order to deal with this,the method of light concentration is implemented.There are two main aspects in the research work.One is focused on the research of the lens condenser of the concentration system. The research investigated and analyzed the present lens condenser,and designed a optimised version with CAD software to improve the performance.Compare to present ones,the optimised new version of lens condenser has stronger ability in concentrating light,especially scattered light,and the receiving angle is increased as well.The other aspect is focused on the research of the preparation and performance of up-conversion material.A new kind of co-doped Er3+-Yb3+ ion Oxyfluoride glass-ceramic nano-materials are prepared using sol-gel method,and characterised their XRD,SEM,dark line spectrum,luminescent spectrum,etc.This kind material emits not only long wavelength like red light(667 nm),green light(556 nm),but also short wavelength like 413 nm,454 nm,490 nm.
