The important effect of wetland and plateau wetland on entironment balance was introduced and analyzed. The especial engineering characteristics of Neimenggu's plateau wetland were anal yzed. Meanwhile, diversiform soft clay sugbrade disposal means were compared. In view of entironment protection and engineering characteristics of the plateau wetland, gravel pile composite foundation and dynamic consolidation rubble substitution were chosen.According to the engineering actual state, complete soft clay foundation monitoring scheme was designed. By means of long-term monitoring, a mass of data of deformation,pressure of pore water and soil was obtained. Based on it, engineering characteristics of soft clay foundation in the plateau wetland were analyzed and timely and effective feedback data was provided to ensure the engineering construction carrying trough safely and successfully. It was appeared that the foundation disposal means of dynamic consolidation rubble substitution has better effect and was more appropriate to apply in that area by means of analyzing the deformation monitoring data. The study of this paper can be referred for similar engineering.
