With organic macromolecular materials widely applied in road engineering,the modified agent for bituminous mixture was becoming one of the hot research points.Pave Strong is a newly compound polymer modified agent for bituminous mixture modified,it was developed independently by our project group,the paper mainly focused the systemic research on pavement performance of Pave Strong.-The paper regarded the research on pavement performance of Pave Strong as its mainline; selected only AC-13C aggregate gradation;contrasted bituminous mixture intermingled with Pave Strong with matrix bituminous mixture,SBS or Sasobit modified bituminous mixture and bituminous mixture intermingled with PLAST.S;Varied Pave Strong five different doses (0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5%);studied systematically Mashall performance,high temperature stability, crack resistance at low temperature,water susceptibility,fatigue resistance,and Pave Strong dose's effect on pavement performance.In the mean time,combining with some highway application practice,we carried out certain verification about pavement performance of bituminous mixture intermingled with Pave Strong.The research and practice indicated that Pave Strong can effectively improve pavement performance of bituminous mixture,especially improve high temperature stability markedly, what's more,Pave Strong dose was directly related to improving of pavement performance. Contrasted with three kinds of other modified methods,Pave Strong had higher performance-price ratio and good operatability,thus had a fine application prospect.
