Aiming at the characteristics of Asphalt concrete is widely applied on bridge deck overlay at present,and which is lack of enough high-temperature stability. the research and development of new type material with high temperature stability and fatigue-resistant with the modified polymer compound in this text, It is clear that the issue has important academic value and engineering significance.Lots of materials have been prepared in this study, on the basis of understanding the properties and applications of the various modifiers, the scheme of using SBS, PE, EC-120, CB for composite modified asphalt preparation has drafted. Through orthogonal design and range analysis, obtained the influence law of of each factor mixing amount to the various performance of base asphalt, determined the best combination of the various factores in use of overall balance method, and evaluated the performance of different asphalt in use of SHRP Test.Combineing with the Anti-high temperature characteristic of Bridge deck pavement, the coures aggregate gap gradation has been selected in this study , an Optimization Design of asphalt mixture gradation by test methods of VCAAC and VCADRFfor"SAC",Optimized design the gradation of asphalt mixture, determined the best optimal asphalt content of different asphalt mixture by testing the volume index of marshal test piece. Contrasting and Analysing different asphalt mixtures'performance by rutting test, bending test at low temperature, the water stability and the fatigue property test.The results showed that composite modified asphalt has a better road performance than both SBS modified asphalt and base asphalt, such as high temperature stability,fatigue-resistant and so on. Through economic evaluation,it was found that the composite modified asphalt is a new material for bridge deck pavement, has a relatively higher price than SBS modified asphalt, but a better performance price ratio, can effectively resolve the problem of high-temperature stability is deficient, will be widely applied.
