Now foamed concrete with fly ash is an extensive foamed concrete which was researched and applied because of many merits in our country, such as light quality and high intensity, heat preservation and insulation, sound insulation and fire resistance, environmental protection and energy sources economize. The research actuality and question of foamed concrete are analyzed. The technical character and form mechanism and choiceness trait are introduced.In this paper, the technics of foamed concrete with fly ash reinforced by polypropylene fiber are researched, from the choice of raw materials and instrument to the control of many pivotal technics. The connection between the compression strength and dry density of the foamed concrete and its proportion has also been studied.Used as a foaming agent in the test, alkyl benzene sulfonate has better foam ability. When foam is produced, triethanolamine and oil acid are added orderiy and distantly in order to improve the foam stability. Large numbers of experimental results show that fly ash activation by replacing cement is able to improve the growth of intensity, especially forepart intensity of the foamed concrete. The mechanical and chemic activation is an effective method of fly ash. Therefore, fly ash is grinded to Sum by means of colloid grind machine. Test results showed mat the compression strength of the foamed concrete was improved with 40% ground fly ash. As an additive, KOH was better than Cacl2 and fluorite. Because KOH can offer OH- and explode the activity of fly ash. When KOH consumption is 3%, the intensity of foamed concrete is most. The content of foam added can decrease the dry density ensuring the compression strength of the foamed concrete. Polypropylene fiber is no obvious influence to the density of the foamed concrete. The conclusion is deduced that the intensity of foamed concrete can be improved if added into polypropylene fiber. It is a consult according to its practice application and cost.
